Annie is an outstanding clinical leader, combining excellent clinical expertise with compassionate, person-centred practice. Annie oversees the multidisciplinary teams at GV Hospice; her leadership driving innovation and service excellence, ensuring care is delivered with empathy, respect, and care.

Carmel Smith – Guest

Carmel Smith began her palliative care career at GV Hospice in 2003 formerly working within Oncology at the Shepparton Private Hospital.

Carmel’s role within GV Hospice expanded throughout her time with the service from a nursing staff member to the eventual Executive Manager. Her dedication to the clients, carers and the local community saw the service lead the way in community palliative care and set a strong foundation that is still maintained today.
