Dr John Hetherington – Guest
Noted as one of the key founders of GV Hospice, Dr John Hetherington has been a pioneer in the creation of the service. John has been involved with the service from its ealry days until resigning from the Committee of Management in 2021.
John was involved in many key periods of GV Hospice from its initial struggle to obtain funding, the development of the Opportunity Shop, maintaining a strong presidency in tough times all while maintaining his practice and involvement in other key organisations.

Robert Sands – Guest
Robert Sands has been a valued member of our Service since 1992 and remains the Secretary to the Committee of Management to this date. Rob has continued to provide support to the service from being President in 1995 till 2003.
Robert continues to support the service as the Chair of the Clinical Governance Sub-Committee, member of the Property Committee and Finance, Audit & Risk Sub-Committee.
