GVHospice

GV Hospice Opportunity Shop was established in 1994, providing financial support to GV Hospice since that time.

Funds raised support GV Hospice to provide palliative care and equipment free of charge in the local community 24 hours/day 7 days/week 365 days per year. Funds raised also allow the service to cope with gaps in funding to provide a growing service.

DONATING GOODS

Collection bins on Fryers Street are open from 9am to 3pm.

Larger or fragile goods can be donated via the gate at the rear of the Milk Bar in Corio Street (push the buzzer) between 9am to 1pm.

Small bags only can be placed in the container at the front door (Fryers Street) of the shop.

Donation of larger goods such as furniture can be organised by contacting the Op Shop on 5831 6448

We can accept:

  • Clothing and accessories
    (names must be removed)
  • Kitchen and general homewares
  • Manchester
  • Toys, games and puzzles
  • Books
  • Some electrical items
    (please check with the
    shop before donating)
  • Larger pieces of furniture
    (by arrangement only)

We can’t accept:

  • Soiled, stained or
    ripped clothing
  • Broken, stained or
    cracked homeware
  • Stained bedding and pillows
  • Bike helmets or children’s
    prams, car seats , cots or cradles
  • Broken electrical goods,
    computers and screens
