The role will:
- Have the ability to conduct psycho-social-spiritual assessment, intervention, planning and evaluation.
- Provide Counselling to meet the needs of clients and their carers/families.
- Manage group facilitation and client advocacy.
- Participate in, and contribute to, the interdisciplinary team.
- Use culturally appropriate intervention strategies for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients.
- Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, occupational health and safety and risk management.
Must have:
- A tertiary qualification in social work or counselling or substantial experience in social work, psychology, family support and/or counselling with an understanding of palliative care and the experience of carers and bereavement.
