GV Hospice is seeking a caring, forward thinking Chief Executive Officer who brings people together, turns ideas into action and shares our commitment to exceptional specialist community palliative care.

This is a full-time role, with flexibility required to attend meetings, events and community engagements outside standard business hours.

A salary of $160,000–$170,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered, together with private use of a vehicle and generous not-for-profit salary packaging benefits at a higher threshold than public hospitals.

GV Hospice provides community specialist palliative care to people living with a life limiting illness, supporting clients, families and carers through care, compassion and choice.

Our talented team consists of nurses, supportive care clinicians, administration alongside dedicated volunteers, community supporters and our Opportunity Shop team to deliver services that respond to what matters most to people.

We have expanded our services and continue to strive to providing care to those in need. Our commitment to quality is reflected in full accreditation with no recommendations and previous achievement of all 20 national PCOC benchmarks across two consecutive reporting periods.

Build on our progress

Following four and a half years of exceptional leadership, our current CEO is retiring. We are deeply grateful for her contribution in guiding organisational transformation, strengthening team capability and establishing firm foundations for future success. She leaves a talented and committed team well positioned to deliver our 2025–2029 Strategic Plan.
