0.4 – 0.6 FTE | Maternity Leave Cover
Are you a Registered Nurse with specialist palliative care experience looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity in a community-based setting?
We are seeking expressions of interest for a secondary or additional shifts (0.4-0.6 FTE) to support maternity leave cover at our standalone community palliative care service in regional Victoria. The opportunity is available between November 2025 and June 2026, with flexible engagement period ranging from 1 to 6 months.
About The Role:
You’ll work as part of a compassionate and experienced multidisciplinary team providing in-home palliative care to clients and their families, supporting people where they live.
Essential Criteria:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Specialist palliative care experience (essential)
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a community-based setting
- Participation in the 24-hour on-call nursing roster
- Current driver’s license
- Availability for 0.4-0.6 over a 1-6 month period between Nov 2025-Jun 2026
- Preferred: Familiarity with the PalCare clinical documentation system
